Astle Paterson’s Equality & Diversity Data 2021

As a law firm, Astle Paterson collate, report and publish workforce diversity data about the diversity make-up of our workforce.

In turn, the Solicitors Regulation Authority uses the information to view the diversity make-up across the whole legal services sector.

Astle Paterson will use the information below to continue in its efforts to promote diversity and makes the information available to the public so that our clients and potential clients can use it in making their choice of law firm.

In collecting the data, Astle Paterson gave everyone working at the firm an opportunity to classify themselves against a range of diversity characteristics.

Everyone working at the firm was asked to complete the questionnaire – including owners of the firm and all other qualified and non-qualified staff (however, they were not compelled to complete the questionnaire or provide their diversity data) – in the event, 24 people working at the firm completed the questionnaire.

The results of the data collection are set out below.
