Astle Paterson support St Giles Hospice and raise over £1,600

Over the last two weeks, Astle Paterson have been one of the many solicitors supporting St Giles Hospice’s ‘Make Your Will Fortnight’.

The promotion encouraged members of the community to make or update their Will, while considering the inclusion of a small contribution to St Giles. The Hospice – that cares for individuals who are living with potentially incurable illnesses– relies on large contributions to continue their service. In fact, one in eight of their patients are cared for through income received from legacy giving. We were therefore more than happy to support Make Your Will Fortnight, and the incredible work they do.

We are thrilled that by working with members of the public to make or update their Wills, we have helped raise a massive £1,625 for St Giles. Having visited the hospice on numerous occasions, we are only too aware of this amazing place and the wonderful services they provide. But they really are reliant on the goodwill of those that contribute. In doing so we feel we are giving something back to the community, and helping them improve the lives of others.
