Martin Astle, Notary at Astle Paterson confirmed “Brazil, Morocco and Chile have now joined the Hague Apostille Convention, meaning that documents will no longer need to be sent to the Country’s Embassy for Legalisation.
Instead, they will accept an Apostille attached to the document by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office which will reduce the time and cost of getting documents Notarised for use in these Countries.”
At Astle Paterson we have two Notaries, Martin Astle and Jean Paterson. Should you need any documents to be notarised for use in abroad, we will arrange for the documents to be certified in line with the procedure required for the destination Country. If required, we can arrange for any documents to be sent to the relevant Embassy for Legalisation.
