Astle Paterson announce their merger with Smith Woodcock

Martin Astle, Director at Astle Paterson, said “Smith Woodcock Solicitors are a local legal company with offices in Burton on Trent and Derby, having over 50 years combined experience in legal issues.

We are therefore pleased to welcome both Nigel Smith and Justine Woodcock into the Astle Paterson fold.

Both Nigel and Justine will add great experience and knowledge to Astle Paterson’s Divorce & Family department.   The merger will enhance the legal services both Smith Woodcock’s and Astle Paterson’s clients will receive.”

Martin continued, “Nigel is well known in the Burton upon Trent and Derby area as a heavy-hitting matrimonial Solicitor and has over 32 years legal experience.   Nigel is also a member of the Law Society Family Law Accreditation scheme, a trained Collaborative lawyer and a member of Resolution.

Justine has over twenty-one years’ legal experience and is a Qualified Chartered Legal Executive.   Justine deals in divorce and also in cohabitation disputes, which some family law specialists can find difficult given the need for detailed knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.

Previously based at Anson Court, Horninglow Street, Burton upon Trent, Nigel, Justine and the staff at Smith Woodcock will make the short journey to join us at Clay House, 5 Horninglow Street, Burton upon Trent from Monday 5th June 2017.”

Please contact Nigel Smith and Justine Woodcock on either 01283 531366 or by way of email at nsmith@astlepaterson.co.uk and jwoodcock@astlepaterson.co.uk.
