Astle Paterson is supporting Breast Cancer Campaign’s national effort to beat breast cancer by raising money to fund ground-breaking research.
The Astle Paterson staff have joined hundreds of thousands of people by taking part in ‘wear it pink’, in dressing in pink attire and raising money for the campaign.
As stated on the Wear it Pink website “Every year, wear it pink raises around £2 million during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by asking people to wear something pink and donate whatever they can. Since the very first wear it pink event in 2002, we’ve raised over £27 million thanks to the generosity of many thousands of people taking part.”
The money will be used to fund world-class research seeking to “discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.”
