Astle Paterson’s long serving Receptionist Lyn Wilson will retire on Thursday 17th April 2014.
Having joined Bakewells in August 2006, Lyn has been with the firm throughout its change of name to Astle Paterson, the merging of the firm with OMW Solicitors and Astle Paterson’s recent move to Clay House.
On leaving Astle Paterson Lyn said “I have enjoyed my time at Astle Paterson and have made good friends. However, I do not see this as the end – but merely the end of the beginning.
I have already planned a lot of things which will keep me busy well into my ‘retirement’; I am looking forward to training to be an Exam Invigilator, undertaking a Sign Language course, finally sitting down and writing my semi-autobiographical novel – which I hope will be a Best Seller – going to football matches, motorbike rallies and festivals, spending time with my family and friends, going to the theatre and music gigs and …. learning to drive! Also, I am looking forward to watching England in the World Cup throughout the Summer in my garden, drinking Champagne when they win.”
Known to clients and staff for her bright outlook and fun nature, Lyn will be missed by all.
Astle Paterson wishes Lyn all the best for her future.
