Alex Bristow

Bio

Alex is the Head of Wills & Probate at Astle Paterson and specialises exclusively in Private Client work.

 She advises clients on a wide range of matters including Wills, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Inheritance Tax planning and Court of Protection applications. Alex has particular experience in helping individuals and families navigate sensitive matters with clear, practical advice, whether they are planning for the future or dealing with the administration of a loved one’s estate.

 Alex also has previous experience in residential property matters, which complements her Private Client work, particularly when dealing with estate property sales, transfers of property to beneficiaries and trust-related property matters.

 Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 after studying Law and completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield, Alex has developed extensive experience in Private Client law and is known for her approachable manner and attention to detail.

 Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling with her family, discovering new food destinations, and recreating favourite dishes at home. Her favourite destination remains Bangkok. She also enjoys countryside walks with her husband, their two dogs and spending time with their two daughters.
