At Astle Paterson we are proud to be able to support local good causes. As part of our giving something back to the community, members of Astle Paterson’s staff will volunteer their time to act as marshals at the Riverside Run on Sunday 31st August 2014. Entrants in the Riverside Run can choose to do either a 5K or 10K run to raise vital funds for St Giles Hospice.
St Giles Hospice provides “high-quality medical and nursing care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as offering support for their families and helpers.”
Crucially, “the range of specialist services is provided free of charge to all who need it.” As a result, St Giles Hospice “relies heavily on donations and fundraising.”
So please join us at the Trent Washlands, Burton upon Trent on Sunday 31st August 2014 to support both the runners and St Giles Hospice. Registration for the run opens at 8.45am and the run will start at 9.30am. The start point will be outside Burton Library (DE14 1AH.)
