Review your Will for free at Astle Paterson

Should I review my Will?

Here at Astle Paterson, we understand that things in life change and so that’s why we’re offering a free 30 minute Will Review Consultation to check that your Will is still fit for purpose and, most importantly, reflects your wishes.

Whilst not an exhaustive list, the following events should trigger a review of your Will:

  • If you marry or enter into a civil partnership (any previous Will is automatically revoked unless it is made specifically in contemplation of the marriage/civil partnership)
  • If you separate or divorce
  • If you change your name
  • If you buy a property with another person
  • If any of the persons mentioned in the Will as executors or beneficiaries has died
  • If you have sold or given away any assets specifically mentioned in the Will
  • If you are starting a business
  • If you acquire assets abroad or intend to make a Will in another country
  • If you have a child or adopt
  • If the value of your estate significantly increases or decreases
  • If you have made gifts or loans to family members

Arranging your review is easy.   Simply call our Private Client Team on 01283 743969 or email snash@astlepaterson.co.uk to book an appointment.
