Who are we?

Our website can tell you only a little about us. The main aim is to give you the opportunity to see how we can help you find a solution to a legal issue.

First of all we are a long established local practice covering Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire.

Martin Astle has been practising law since 1963 and has built the firm’s reputation as the leading practice for Family matters. With his colleagues John Trubshaw, Paul Walters and Liam O’Shea they have over 100 years experience.

Jean Paterson has built up a strong Commercial team which includes Naomi Wilson and Fiona Hume. Martin and Jean first operated under the name of Bakewells in Burton on Trent. Then in June 2007 the business changed its name to Astle Paterson Ltd.
